The "shufflebuilding" game Smash Up starts with a simple premise: take the 20-card decks from two factions, shuffle them into a 40-card deck, then compete to smash more bases than your opponents! Each faction involves a different gameplay mechanism, and each combination of factions provides a different gameplay experience.
